The Specter Box is an easy to use and affordable ghost box app that featues exclusive sound banks created by Andrew Openlander. You get 40 minutes of audio segmented into 4 unique banks. The banks are individually selected and modulated through an adjustable sweep rate that goes from a fast 150ms to 1500ms. This app is designed to mimick the response of the Radio Specter Ghost Box, designed and built by Andrew Openlander of Chicago Spiritwave. At only 9.3 megabytes this app will take up little space on your device and designed to provide a powerful mix of carefully curated ghost box sounds to provide the material needed for effective ITC work. Run it straight or run it through your amp/effect rig. The audio banks are recorded direct from an original Radio Specter Ghost Box using a variety of effects. Bank 1 is straight radio with no effects. Bank 2 is recorded through a spring reverb emulator. Bank 3 is recorded through a vintage Memory Man Delay pedal. Bank 4 is recorded through a vintage Maxon/Ibanez Phase shift pedal. These are the same tools used by Andrew Openlander when doing his personal sessions. The banks are recorded with a variety of different settings and speeds to create a wide range of material that is put out as randomly as possible to get the best results.
